J&R Shugel Acquisition
June 23, 2018. Trucking firm J&R Shugel, based in Minnesota, announced the acquisition of another trucker, Michigan-based Super Service LLC. Employee-owned Shugel plans to convert Super Service to an employee ownership model.
New Rutgers EO Fellows
June 22, 2018. Rutgers School of Management and Labor Relations has appointed 22 research fellows to study employee ownership and profit sharing. Among the group is EOA contributing editor Christopher Mackin. There’s more information on the 22 fellows here.
